Keeley I looked up in shock as Gio appeared in the doorway. His face was a mask of fury. The fork in my hand dropped to the plate with a clatter. He had only been gone a few minutes, just long enough for me to grab a bowl of chopped fruit from his fridge, but it was clear that something bad had happened. “What—" He was across the shining tiles in a second.
