“You did what?” My friend screeched from across the small patio table we were sipping coffee around. It was early, but it didn’t matter how early it was in London. The streets were already bustling with people. Some on their way to work, their heads down as they hurried on their way and others like me and Annie who were taking a moment in one of the curb side cafes to catch our breath and enjoy the late summer sunshine.
