Chapter Thirty-Eight An ice-cold lump settled in the pit of Jaxon's belly as he pulled his livestock out of Dodge City, and it remained there the five-hour drive back to Prairie. For the first time ever, he considered bailing out on the Capizzi-Boyd Sunday night dinner. He just couldn't face Izzie after the awful things he'd said the evening before.
