Chapter 4 Victoria walked into the house, leaving John standing by the door. John was still in shock. Immediately, Lisa came out all dressed. "Are you going somewhere?" Victoria said. Lisa was confused and didn't know what to say. With the look on John's face, she knew her cover had been blown, but she still had to win this game, no matter what. "No, I mean yes, I'm going to see a friend" Lisa said, looking straight into John's eyes without remorse. "That's okay, meet John, my student, John, this is Lisa, my twin sister", Victoria said while she kept unpacking the groceries she bought. "Hello John" Lisa said as she shook his hands. "I didn't know you had a twin sister," John said. "Yeah, I wanted to tell you, but unfortunately this crisis between us happened" Victoria said. Victoria noticed the gold necklace on Lisa's. "Wow! This is beautiful, Lisa said as she went close to Lisa and touched the necklace. "Thank you Sis, actually some guy I met recently bought it for me, he's rich and influential," Lisa said as she twisted her hair while her gaze was fixed on John. "Lucky you, maybe I'll get to meet him someday?" Victoria said. "Sure definitely, you will," Lisa said, smiling mischievously. " I should be on my way now," John said. "Can I get a ride to my friend's place", Lisa said. "Oh no, I don't think we're going the same direction, it's really nice to see you Lisa" John said and he walked out. Victoria noticed how uneasy John was, but pretended not to care. Lisa started by digging through the internet. She searched for John's biography, his past, where he lived, and his social accounts. She was determined to get every piece of information she could find, she felt it would make her job easy. After some thorough research, her online digging paid off. She found his address and i********: handle. Excited by the discovery of John's house address, Lisa decided to take a bold step, to pay John a surprise visit. As Lisa arrived at John's house, her eyes widened with amazement. The mansion was big and expensive, and it left her in awe. She approached the imposing gate and the security man on duty asked, "Hold on there. Who are you, and what's your business here?" Lisa, who was determined to see John and didn't want to reveal her true intentions, replied with a somewhat innocent tone, "Oh, I'm Lisa, an old friend of his, I was around the neighborhood, so I decided to pay him a visit, Is he home?" "No he's not home" the security man informed her. Lisa felt disappointed but kept on pushing. "Okay, can I wait for him?" Lisa said. "No you can't, we don't allow visitors in without prior information of their visit". The security guard said. "Okay, that's fine, just tell him Lisa has come". Lisa started to make her way out, when she saw a car pulled up at the entrance. A lady in the car honked the horn impatiently, signaling for the gate to be opened. The security man complied, and the gate began to swing open. Lisa couldn't help but steal a glance at the lady in the car. Her curiosity got the best of her, and she wanted to know who this person was. The lady, with a somewhat rude tone, said, "excuse me, "Who are you?" Lisa, not one to back down, replied, "I'm Lisa". "So what do you want, if I may ask?" The lady asked. "I'm here to see John, I'm an old friend, and if I may ask, are you John's sister?" Lisa was smiling, she felt she could start by being friends with his sister. "No, I'm Samantha, John's girlfriend". "Oh, really" Lisa said, looking at Samantha in a very disgusting manner. "Yes really" Samantha replied as she drove in. Lisa stood in shock and anger as she watched Samantha drive in. " So, John has a girlfriend, and he's been lying to Victoria?" She said to herself. As Samantha entered the house, she was surprised to find Richard, John's manager, in the living room. Richard, with a serious expression, said: "You know you're not supposed to be here Samantha?" "But why? I am here to see John and not you, so please stop bossing me around", Samantha said with a loud tone. "He doesn't love you anymore, he has moved on," Richard said. Samantha, her face filled with desperation, tried to explain, "Richard, you don't understand. I can't just leave John. We have something special." Richard, firm in his response, told her, "You need to stop, Samantha. John has someone else in his life now, and you’re going to make things really complicated." Samantha, curiosity getting the better of her, asked, "Who is it? Who is John with now?" But Richard remained tight-lipped, fearing that Samantha might interfere. He replied, "I can't tell you. It's not my place. Just know that you need to let go." Samantha, with a hint of desperation, said, "Richard, I can't give up on John. I won't." Richard's concern deepened, and he said to himself, "This is getting out of hand. I need to talk to John about this." With emotions still running high, Samantha decided to take her leave of John's house. She received an urgent message on her phone that required her immediate attention. She turned to Richard and said, "I have to go, Richard. Something important just came up. When Lisa got back to Victoria's house, she met her sister as soon as she walked in. They greeted each other with smiles, and Victoria asked, "Hey Lisa, where are you coming from?" Lisa, putting on an innocent look, said, "Oh, I just went to see an old friend of mine, it’s been a while." Victoria nodded and said, "That sounds nice. It's good to keep in touch with old friends. Lisa wasn't paying attention, her thoughts kept going back to Samantha, the lady she met at John's place. She wondered why John should have kept it away from Victoria that he had a girlfriend all along, thereby making a job more difficult. "Taking Victoria out of the picture won't be difficult, now Samantha has shown up, how do I handle Samantha's case", Lisa kept wondering. Without putting much thought into it, she turned to Victoria and said, “Vic, do you know John has a girlfriend? What? Victoria said, her eyes filled with surprise and disappointment.
