It’s been a month since the war, and it’s been a month since Alexia died. I was happy that Lucian was alive but a part of me still mourns for the Alexia’s death. What Alexia did was to save me from going astray, to save me from becoming the monster I once was. She’s always there to look out for me.
Alexia’s burial was attended only by a few people. Aside from Lucian and me, Diana, Dmitri and Irene were there. We buried Alexia’s body to the temple of the moon. I figured it is the best place for her to rest; she was the priestess of the temple after all.
The palace is slowly recovering from the results of the war. Good thing we didn’t have too many deaths on our side. Today the allies from all around the world travel back to their packs.
