Ever since Lucian was transferred to the council tower’s infirmary, Kaia never once left his side. She sat beside the bed, holding his hand as she patiently waited for him to wake up. She’s been wondering to herself why Lucian fainted when he felt her rage now she knows why. Once a person ingested the moon drip they can’t feel its effect right away. It would slowly take their strength until it paralyzes their body.
It’s a good thing Lucian is a lycan. His body heat and his blood were fighting off the poison making its effect slower than normal. She almost lost her mate and she regreted ever leaving him.
