Leah slowly opened her eyes when she felt someone shaking her awake. She looked around and saw an unfamiliar room which caused her to panic, well almost. When she smelled the scent of spicy apple it immediately calmed her and all the memories of meeting her second chance mate came rushing in like a movie into her mind. She sat up on her bed and that was when Lucian came out of the bathroom freshly shaven.
“Did you sleep well?” asked Lucian which she answered with a nod.
“Let’s eat.” she was about to moved her body but then she felt pain coming from her lower body. Lucian was so quick to get to her side with a worried look on his face.
