  "Mommy!" Keira's cry sliced through the stillness of the night.   She stumbled through the winding paths of the palace garden, her small hands clutching at the bushes as if they'd lead her home. Tears blurred her vision, hot streaks running down her face as she choked on sobs.   "Kelvin! Kelsey!" she cried louder, voice cracking. "Where are you?!"   She had run.
