Villian

(Lilith’s P.O.V) I’m on my way to the Valencia main headquarter for a meeting. Funny how it all started from the moment I walked into that company. I know that for these years, Emma has been rejected all the invitations and offers from Valencia for my sake. I wasn’t strong enough to be there. But now time is different, and I have nothing to fear anymore. I climb up to the meeting floor. I can feel all the eyes on me, but they’re still doing their own jobs as well. I smiles at them gently. The elevator opens and inside there’s a girl. “Hello” She said. “Hello” “Going up? Which floor?” “48th” I told her. “Oh! Same for me too.” She pushes the button and the elevator door shut. I glare over at her. A small and tiny girl, in a very modest dress. Her face is so smooth and soft. She looks so young that I can’t tell if she’s over the age of 20 or not. “Are you perhaps Miss Lilith Anderson?” She asked with curiosity written on her face. “Yes, I am.” I replied back with a smile. Then she flashes me a huge smile. “I’m a fan of you. I’m so so happy to meet you.” “Thank you.” We chatted for a bit before the elevator opens up. I see Heavan approaches me as soon as she sees me. “Lilith!” She throws her arms for a hug. She looks a bit tired than the last time I saw her. She glares at the girl at my back and I can feel her expression drops a little. She took me by my hand and leads me inside the meeting room. “I got appointed as the lead designer for this project.” She said while flashing me her usual cheerful smile. I look at her shockingly. “That’s amazing; you should have told me sooner. We can celebrate.” I said. “I asked Aunt Rosie for permission already. So tonight I’ll be staying at your place.” She said while ruffling my hair. I laugh slightly. As I stood in the corner waiting for the entire team to show up, Heavan’s phone rang up. “Sorry, I have to take a call.” She said and left. I stood alone looking at the few people who is working their best and not get distracted. You can tell that this is such an important projects. “Miss Lilith?” The girl from the elevator calls out my name. I smile at her. She approaches me with a cup of coffee in her hand. “Would you like some coffee?” She smiles at me. She seems so pure and clueless which also remind me of how I was a few years ago. “Sure, thank you.” I replied. But the moment I reach my hand out to grab the paper cup. She squeezes it tightly and spill the hot liquid on to herself. “AHH!” She exclaims loudly to attract everyone’s attention. I look at her in confusion. For a split seconds her sweet smile turns into a mocking smirk and then changes to a pitiful one. “What’s happening here?” A voice asked. The voice that I remember no matter how long it’s been. The voice that shakes the deepest wound of my heart. “Boss” Everyone greet him. He walks into the room. As soon as he walks in, it feels the temperature has drop immediately. It feels like everything stop and time froze in its track. Everyone now focus on him completely and forgot what their jobs are. He’s wearing the latest design of Valencia suit. The navy blue suited him well likes he was made for it and only him can make the suit looks this good. “I asked what happened? Somebody care to explain?” He said. I can feel his gazes on me as he’s staring at my face. I look away from him but the burns of his gaze never leave. “It was me who being clumsy.” The girl raises her hand and act like she’s a victim. I’m standing here dumb fold not knowing what to do. If only I brought Emma along with me. “Care to explain Miss Lilith?” He said to me. His tone is so distant, but his eyes say something else. “I have nothing to say.” I replied and folded my arms. I know this is not a good impression. But I didn’t do anything wrong. “Someone please bring Miss Fiona to get change.” As soon as he finished, some girls come and takes Fiona away. I can feel a very straight glare from Fiona. As she walk out of the room, the tension in air doubled up. ‘Where is Heavan anyway when you need her the most?” “Care to join me in my office and explain?” He said. “Sure” I replied and follow him up to his office. The employees behind us look at us with confusion in their eyes. I guess tomorrow there’s going to be an interesting headline. I get into his room and he went in behind me locked the door. “I won’t escape if it was just a normal question.” I said while facing him. He’s still the same in the memories. Fierce and serious face, and those pair of gray eyes. The color like the iceberg that won’t melt no matter what. “Was it fun playing the villain?” He asked me. Something about his tone makes me feel like he’s mocking me. “Do you think I’m that petty?” I said and looks at his face straight on trying to search for an answer. “In my eyes, you’re indeed petty.”  I can a sharp pain in my heart. So this is what I look like in his eyes? “Ohh, so in your eyes, I have no sense of moral?” “…..” He went quiet. It always likes this. You can never figure out what does he wants or what is going on in his mind. I can feel myself getting tear up. “Do you really think I would have done that?” “……” “I regret all the times I wasted falling in love with you.” As soon as I said that, I can feel that I sparked up something inside him. He grabs my hand and forces me to fall into his embrace. “I dare you to say that again.” Those eyes feel like that they will burn me to my death instantly. I have nothing to be scared of. I’m not afraid of him. I was not wrong from the beginning. “I regret that I loved you.” “Well too bad, you’re desperate. You were to one asking for it.” “I don’t love you anymore.” I can feel his embrace has gotten tight. He forcefully kisses me as my eyes widen in shock. His scent never changed. The alluring sense of danger but still draws you in. Like a moth, I’m playing with the pit of fire, not afraid that it will burn me to my death. He’s kissing me so forcefully, I can smell blood. Is it mine? I release me as I’m gasping for air. He wipes any the blood on the corner of his lips. He smirks at me as if this is what he wants to see. As if my reaction is a part of his plan. “At least your body is pretty honest.” I slap his face with all the energy I have left inside of me. I can see my palm printed on his face. “You’re a sick freak.” I said as I rushed out. I did not expect thing to go this way. On my way out I bumped into Heavan. “What’s wrong?” I didn’t say anything. She looks at me apologetically as she took me to the restroom to get freshen up. What is it that you want from me? He who once pushes me away, now is back to destroys my life again.
