I didn't have the time to consider my options anymore. To leave and go back to the horse or to walk into the cave and rest while I waited for help? The decision was a difficult one to make. I finally decided to leave to find the horse, wherever it was. When I made an attempt to move my foot forward, my knee buckled and I fell down on to it. My breathing halted as my hands fell to the snow to break my fall. I stared down at the whiteness in shock. My body betrayed me when I tried to move it again. I couldn't lift my hands or my legs anymore. It was so cold that I couldn't feel my feet or hands. They were buried in the snow and the cold overtook them.
