Aria's POV The cry echoed again. Soft. Fragile. Impossible. Every wolf in the sanctuary heard it. No one spoke. No one dared to move. It sounded exactly like the cry of a newborn. Yet this place had been abandoned for centuries. My silver mark burned beneath my skin. Not painfully. Like a compass. It was pulling me forward. "Aria." Damien's voice was low. Careful. Concerned. His hand found mine, and our mate bond settled the storm inside my heart. "I have to follow it." Lucas stepped in front of the narrow tunnel. "It could be a trap." "It probably is," I admitted. "But it's also the only clue we've had in days." Marcus studied the glowing mark on my wrist. Finally, he nodded. "The sanctuary only opens for those chosen by the Moon Goddess." He looked at Damien.
