No wolf moved.
No one breathed.
For generations, the fourth bell had existed only in stories. It was never rung for an invasion.

Lucas was the first to react.
"Seal every entrance!"
Warriors scattered across the courtyard.
"No one leaves. No one enters."
I watched every face around me.

Confusion.
