Raelynn I awoke to the soft light of dawn coming through the curtains. It was the final day of school before summer break, and I could feel the excitement in the air. Alison had spent the night in my room, and we had talked late into the night about everything and nothing, attempting to temporarily put Ashley's tension behind us. "Morning," Alison mumbled, stretching as she sat up. "Ready for the last day?" "Yeah," I said, smiling. But first, we have packing to do. Meet you later, when we are finished?” "Deal," she said, grabbing her things. "I'll head back to my room now. See you in a bit." After we hugged, she left, leaving me by myself with my thoughts.
