“I am better than ok, don’t worry about me I’m hanging out with friends, see you tomorrow daddy.” I hang up and Cade is standing before me.
“Well well, seems like little Rayne has grown up some,” I shrug smiling. He takes my hands in his. “Thank you Rayne, that meant a lot to Elise and to me.”
“I’m glad she now knows not all Alpha’s are tyrants, even future ones.” He squeezes my hand once more before turning back to his mate, both smiling. I look over at Stone wanting so badly to go over and have him hold me in his arms but this was my choice as stupid as it seems now, he smiles at me and I feel a warm sensation spread through me at his gaze. I look back at Cade. “So are all your get-together’s this emotional?”
