CHAPTER 3

Cane's POV People say when a dept is made, it's suppose to be paid. My hands clenched together as I sit watching him cry in pain, well that's like my second name. People call me Halloween, which I don't seem to mind. It actually takes out a good taste in me. But what I don't see to understand, is as to why they are always ready to provoke me. Blood gets sprinkled on my face, as Steven, my right hand man, began chopping off his fingers with a cleaver. "AHHHHH!" he cries in pain. I'm a man of less words and this one side of me is what gets people never to cross limits with me nor try to question my authority. I take out a box full of cigarettes, then pulled out one. Reaching out the cigarette to my lips, I light up a lighter, then added fire to the cigarette, making it breath out steam. I turned again to the scene that was being played Infront of me, then I found myself curving up a smirk, as I felt satisfaction making it's way on to me. "AHHHH!" he screamed again, as Steven went on cutting the next one. There's something I always love giving to my enemies, a soft killing. But what I never give to them, is mercy. The word 'mercy' is like a mockery straight to my face. Giving out a piece of advice, mercy is something you should never beg for, especially from me, honestly, you'll turn to be terribly disappointed. Fears, are all I want to see. Cries, are all I want to hear. Danger, is all I want to smell. And... Blood, is all I want to touch. These four, are what you could ever call my best friends. Only they have stayed loyal to me, they taught me how to live without fear, because fear is the greatest weakness to mankind. "Please... Mr... Mr Hallow.... please give me...a... another chance, I...I promise you that...you... you'll get your money by...next week..." he said. This was like something I always got to hear. He really was finding it hard to speak, wasn't he? I smiled inwardly over the fact of him being afraid. This really turned out to be a very humorous moment for me, finding it hard to hold it in, I laughed out loud at his foolishness. "Next week?" I asked with a stern look. How could he even think I would wait that long for him. Some people did really know how to push the red button in me. I stood up from my sit and began walking towards him, with my hands tucked in my pockets. "Hand me the gun, Luis." Luis was my man incharge of the guards. He's loyal. Luis and I had known eachother since highschool, but til then he has never tried to question my authority. Luis finally handed me the gun. I took it, then pointed it straight to Mr Fernando's head. I needed to get over with this piece of s**t. "Please...Mr Hallow...for...forgove me." he pleaded. With a fine smirk placed on my face I said, "Go to hell." without another second waisted, I shot a bullet straight in his head. While at the same time, the door went opening wide, revealing a shot woman with most curvisious body I had ever seen. She looked lost. But to clear up her curiosity, she had just entered the lion's den. Her eyeballs turned white, as she constantly look at all of us in shock and fear. Without taking any action yet, she slowly fell to the ground, and from there, I knew she had passed out. I kept looking at her for about twenty seconds before I had turned to my men furiously. "What's the meaning of this?!" I asked. Not knowing what to say, they all turned their gazes away from me, looking downwards. Yeah, they acted good by doing that, how could they even have the courage to face me at this point of time. "I ASKED A f*****g QUESTION!" this time they all went vibrating on their spots. "Sir...I...I had made sure that no one could come in...inside." one of the men said. "Then explain this!" "Sir...I really don't know how she had located this place." I pointed the gun at him. I could see fear starting to form up from his eyes. "Ohhh, you don't know?" I said, tilting up my head playfully, while a smirk made it's way on my lips. "Well, guess you will get to know it in the next life." and with that, I shot a bullet straight to his head. I turned my gaze around looking at the rest, who only stood on their spots, constantly vibrating. "Will you f*****g clean up this mess before I start shooting people's brains out!" and in one say, they all began moving left and right, doing what their suppose to do. Both Steve and Luis began walking to my direction. "What now?" Luis asked. "I don't know man." I said. No one knew me as a killer, they only knew me as the most feared mafia in the States, but no one had ever witnessed me murder someone. Yes, I am murderous, a cold hearted being alive, but I never show it out in public. My name is enough to terrify the people who try to challenge me. One thing that I knew for sure is that, if she regained back consciousness she will go around spreading to everyone that she had seen me murder someone in cold blood. It's not really my reputation I was scared for, I could easily build that back, it was actually my empire the one at risk. I kept on looking at her as if I was studying her, then I heard a voice which pulled me back to reality. "Dude, why not just kill her here and now?" Steven suggested. I mean I could easily kill her, but there was only one problem. What if she didn't witness anything, what if after she had regained back consciousness, she won't know anything. Maybe she would assume that it was all a dream. All this played in my head like some dangerous game. Thinking of how innocence she could turn out to be, I chose to play it much wiser. "Hand me the gun, I will finish this once and for all." Steven said, as snatched the gun from my hand. "No! don't do it." I said. "Wait...what? Steven said, as a feeling of disturbance took over him. Luis only stood beside us. He wasn't really looking confused, it was more like he was thinking for a better suggestion. "Prepare the car, I'm taking her with me." One of the guards went running out, I assumed he was going to get the car started. "Wait Cane, you can't be serious." Luis said. "We can't risk it, guys. We have to take her with us." I said, looking all calm. "Fine, but if it happens that she did see something, then we have to kill her." Steven said. "Agreed." Luis joined. I looked at both of them for second, then turned to the woman who laid on the floor. And without another thought, I went straight for my response. "fine!" I said firmly.
