Adria went to her room immediately she got home. Thankfully, no one was home.
She could lock herself in the room.
She took off her clothes and went straight into the shower.
A few minutes later, she came out with her hair still damp.
She felt more relaxed and at ease than she had felt a few minutes ago.
Nathan’s room was just beside hers, and not that she was attentive to whatever he was up to.
But she hadn’t heard a sound coming from his room since they got back.
She wore a shirt and a pair of joggers, then tied her hair in a messy bun before sitting on the bed.
She had an idea. Instead of wondering about what her stepbrother was doing in his own room, she would do her assignments and read a book afterwards.
Sounds like a great idea to her.
