After the class, I went home surprised to see my parents in the kitchen.
“Hi sweetheart. How’s school?” My mom asked while I am at the stairs going up.
“It’s okay mom.” I went to my room and put down my bag on the bed. Then went downstairs.
“How’s the mission?” I asked.
“We have a lead. There will be a major transaction like the next day.” My father replied.
“What’s your plan?” I grabbed the pitcher then pour myself a juice to drink.
“We need to be at the transaction. It will be a big deal, there’s a rich man who wants their product.”
“Sounds like a big money,” I reached for the box of pizza and picked a slice to eat.
“Yes, it’s going to be millions.”
“The mission seems to be easy that it won’t involve me.”
“No sweetheart, this is just a part of the mission. We need to stop the transaction as a diversion.” My mom replied so I looked at her.
“What do you mean diversion?” I am curious about the mission, until now, I don’t know about it. They still haven’t told me.
“It’s enough about the mission. How are you doing at school?” My father with his so serious tone.
“Well, I am doing just fine. I have been behaving good.”
“By good, you mean no fights?” My mom said with her raised brows while looking at me.
“Yes.”
“Honey, we need to fix the plan thoroughly.” My father said and motion to the door. They need to talk about the transaction for the next day.
“Okay. We’ll be at the study sweetheart.” My mother followed, leaving me alone in the kitchen. I just nod and looked at them at the door.
Whenever they need something to discuss about their mission, they would always be at the study room. Sometimes when I am involved in the mission, I would join. But since, I am not part of it for now, I won’t be joining.
