Ryder felt froze at her rough answer and stared that the had to give his speech a little rewind to be sure he hadn't said anything offensive.

“ Because for you to be my friend, you have to prove to me that you are worth my trust, time, and attention, it's not by some fancy speech” she smiled.

“ So, Ryder Maxworth the third, if you wanna be my friend I guess you are going to have to start proving your worth tomorrow, but as of now, I'm off to bed” she gave a tiny yawn and stood up.
“ Ok thanks” Ryder smiled as he watched her strolled to the bedroom sleepy.
