Chapter 3: Reflection in the dark

Ruth and Esther have settled into their sister's husband house, but the air is still thick with unspoken tension. Flirtation dances on the corner of every conversation between Esther and Adam.

one day Tessy maid (Ella) prepared coffee for her and called her served her in her room “ma'm this is your coffee” Ella said.

“thank you, just keep it there when I'm done with what I'm doing I will drink it” Tessy said

as Ella is about to go she stopped and go closer to Tessy and said “Ma, notice anything since your two sisters started staying with us?” she asked.

“yes darling, at least my husband did not use to sleep around with those cheap girls anymore. if he goes to work he use to come back on time, but something is missing guess what?” Tessy said pausing what she's writing and drop the pen.

“ma, I'm not good in guessing help me out” Ella said. looking like someone that is enjoying the conversation.

“s*x. yes s*x. we don't use to have s*x often. just kisses and I'm not enough with those kisses” Tessy said.

“sorry ma” Ella said.

“thank you” Tessy said

“ma, did you notice the closeness between your husband and Esther? I saw your husband coming outside from Esther room adjusting his clothes. is like his sleeping with your sis” Ella said keeping her voice low.

“get out of my room now!!!!” Tessy shouted at her looking very very angry. she never talk to her in such a way before cause Tessy respect her like her mother.

“i'm sorry ma” Ella leave the room closing the door gently.

Tessy said to herself “i sent my sis here to keep me company now another person is trying to break my relationship with them. my husband can't do such a thing and I trust my Esther, she won't let such happen. action must be taken immediately” Adam entered the room looking so worried and asked her “darling What's wrong, I heard your voice from the seating room what's it? who are you shouting at?”

“Ella pissed me off” she said.

“what?? what did she do?” looking surprise cause he knows how nice Tessy is to her.

“she said that she saw you this morning adjusting your clothes, coming outside from Esther's room, that is like you both have s*x. that's what made me shouted at her. you can't do such a thing and my sister Esther will not permit you to do such a thing with her”. Tessy said.

Adam was soo furious, he sacked Ella and gave instructions that Tessy sisters to take care of the kitchen and Ella positions. Tessy plead for Ella but Adam persist.

days passed, weeks passed .

late one night, Tessy wake in the midnight feeling very thirsty.

she didn't see her husband in bed, thinking that maybe he is in toilet cause it's locked.

she started heading towards the kitchen to take a glass of water.

While heading to the kitchen to take a cup of she started hearing the mourning of a lady voice “ouch, aww, hmm”;and the more she get closer the sound keep increasing more. The sound is coming from the kitchen. she started looking for her husband cause she is afraid but her husband is nowhere to be found. she went to Ruth room and wake her up and whisper to her ear “Ruth, wake up I'm hearing noise from kitchen but I'm afraid to check”.

“sis, leave me I'm tired of this. I want to sleep” Ruth said feeling soo tired and sleepy.

Tessy hit and forced her to wake up. as they walk towards the kitchen the voice and noise changes to male and female.

“this voice sounds like Ella and Michael own” she said quietly.

“did you mean Micheal the gateman?” Ruth asked.

“yes but my husband sacked Ella few weeks ago, how did she enter my kitchen and start having s*x” Tessy said.

“shut up sis, we are already close open the door small and check who is in the kitchen” Ruth said feeling soo serious.

Tessy opened the door.

what she saw made tears full her eyes.

she screamed “what!!!!!........in my house?.........mi........E...”

Ruth cover her mouth with her hand, she feels soo weak.
