Chapter 20

Senior Year

My summer went good. I spent much time together with Sam and Blaine. Blaine was alone because Kurt lives in New York now but I have to be there for him.

Now it's time to back to school and the most interesting thing is glee club. Our glee club is become one of the popular club in McKinley now include the members.

Right after Mr. Schue put the registration form on the wall there is much students want to sign up and join our glee club. Such an awkward thing when we usually get slushied but now almost every student here want to join our glee club.

Blaine, Tina and Brittany cant stop debating about who will be The New Rachel Berry to have all the solo and the new captain of glee club.

"Guys, we have a new member here!" Mr. Schue walks in.

"Remember someone from Vocal Adrenaline on the last nationals? Welcome to the glee club Unique Adams!" Mr. Schue presents Unique.

Unique walks in with a smile om her face and standing in the front.

"Nice haircut, Mercedes. I though you were graduated." Brittany grinned.

"Mr. Schue lets choose someone who will be The New Rachel Berry." Tina said.

"What do you mean?" Mr. Schue frowned.

"The New Rachel Berry who will take all the solo in this glee club. It must be me right?" Tina asked confidently.

"No The New Rachel Berry or Old Rachel Berry. We will have auditions for the new member this Friday." Mr. Schue said.

Unique sits down next to Blaine and whisper something. I dont know what she said because I'm sitting on the back row with Sam and Joe.

"Being the judges and choose who will be the new Rachel Berry." Blaine smirked at me.

I rolled my eyes and let out a sigh then sit down on the audience seat of the auditorium with Artie.

"You know the song what Rachel Berry probably gonna sing?" Tina smirked at Unique.

"I can sing any song I want without practice." Unique said confidently.

The music begin and they start singing according to be the New Rachel Berry.

"Umm I will make votes online so I will tell the result tomorrow or after tomorrow." Artie said.

"And you, B. Who will be The New Rachel Berry?" Blaine asked me.

"I will send my votes to Artie, tonight." I grinned at them.

"Great. Because Bianca will votes for me, her bestfriend." Brittany said proudly.

"Of course for me, her twin brother." Blaine protest.

I just let out a sigh and takes Artie's wheelchair and pushed it for him. We need to get out from this place in hurry.

"Thanks for safe my life." Artie sighed.

"Girls debating is dangerous." I said.

"I know that." Artie chuckled.

"Alright I have to meet Sam, see you tomorrow, Artie!" I wave Artie goodbye and walk to the field.

I walk to the field and the jocks just end up their practice. Sam walk to me and suddenly kiss me.

"I'm the new quarterback!" Sam yells happily.

"Wow congratulations." I smile at him.

"Well, you have a quarterback boyfriend now." Sam put his hand around my shoulder.

"I know I am." I chuckle and walk off from the field with Sam.

The Glee Club Auditions

"Okay guys, there are many students who sign up for the glee club so choose the best one." Mr. Schue said to us.

We are just nod and take a look at our score board while Mr. Schue call the candidates one by one.

"Hello my name is Jake." A half black guy said as he standing in front of the microphone.

"What is your last name?" Mr. Schue asks.

"It's only Jake. Just Jake." He says.

"Alright just Jake, show us what you've got." Mr. Schue says.

Jake start singing as the band play the music. He has a great voice though. That's cool. And I think he has similar voice with Ne-Yo, well I dont know.

"Okay Jake, thank you." Mr. Schue stops him.

"Wait, but I havent finish my song yet." He protest.

"We already heard your voice. Thank you." Mr. Schue says.

Jake look upset and throw the music sheets until it fall down to the ground then walked off. Mr. Schue just let out a sigh then go back call the next contestant.

"Next!" Artie yells.

A brunette girl with skinny body and as tall as me walks in. She wears a cool sweater and a hat.

"Hello my name is Marley Rose. I'm a sophomore and I'll sing New York State of Mind by Billy Joel." She says to us.

"Show us what you've got, Marley." Mr. Schue says.

The music begin and Marley start singing. I got a feeling that she is the new Rachel.

"Wow that was amazing. We will let you know the result later." Mr. Schue smiles at her.

"Thank you." She smiles back and walks off from the stage.

"She is the new Rachel." Sam whispers at me.

"She is." I nod as agree.

Blaine turns his face at us. Sam and I just pretend like we are tickling each other until Blaine go back turn his face to the stage. Sam and I just let out a sigh and focusing ourselves to the next contestant.

"Blaine can be danger when he is mad." Sam whispers again.

"Couldnt agree more. He is." I nod.

Blaine turns his face at us again and glares at us. I suddenly turn my face at Sam and start playing with his hair.

"Sam, you have brunette hair now." I say as play with Sam's hair.

"That must be chocolate effect." Sam simply says.

Blaine let out a sigh and turns his face to the stage. He is sitting down in front of us and I guess he can hear that Sam and I were talking about him.

I let out a sigh and lean my head on Sam's shoulder. Blaine is not in good mood now. I know that and he can become so dangerous.

Now we are in the choir room waiting for Mr. Schue bring the new members that he told us.

I'm sitting down in front of piano with Sam next to me. I teach him how to play piano like usual. And the others is waiting for Artie about the result of The New Rachel Berry.

Artie pushed his wheelchair enter the choir room. Tina suddenly come to him and give him a chocolate cupcakes.

"This is not a bribe. Because Rachel told me herself that I'm the new Rachel Berry." Tina says to Artie and give him a cupcakes.

"So Artie, who is the winner?" Blaine asks.

"Well..." Artie looks at his iPad.

"It's... Bianca!" Artie points at me.

"What? Me?" I frown.

"Your popularity lose from her." Artie says to the others.

"Beside everyone knows that she got the solo on nationals." Artie added.

Unique give the trophy to me as I still frowning. I just lift my shoulder up and give the trophy to Blaine. He is the one who more talented than me.

"I though you were obessed to be the New Rachel too." Sam says to me.

"I didnt." I shake my head.

"Guys this is our new member. The one and only Marley Rose!" Mr. Schue walks in with Marley.

"Wohoo welcome to the glee club." The others cheering.

"Thank you guys so much." Marley smiles at us.

"I like your sweater that day. Where did you get that?" I smile at her.

"Uh uhmm.. J-Crew." She simply says.

"J-Crew?" I frown and turn my face at Sugar.

"Maybe a new brand store from London or Paris or New York." Sugar says.

The bell rings.

"Well lets go have lunch with us." I smile at Marley and the others then walks out from the choir room.

Sam holds my hand as we walk together to the cafetaria. "I'm so hungry." Sam says.

"You didnt have breakfast this morning?" I asks.

"Nope, I woke up late this morning. If you didnt call me and asked me where the hell I was. I might be not in school today."

"What the hell you did last night?"

"Sang you a song until you fall asleep. I dont know when you fall asleep so I kept singing until I fell asleep." Sam says innocently.

"Sam...." I roll my eyes.

Sam just giggled. I take my food tray and take my lunch then sit down on our table with the others include Kitty and her jocks friends who is so annoying. I dont like kind of guy like that.

"That woman is really big. When she sits around the house. She really sits around the house." Kitty laughs.

She must be talking about a woman who works in cafetaria who is big. She is big like really big but she is nice I think because she always give me extra food.

"Look at her boobs, it's like two big plastic from grocery store." Sugar laughs.

I didnt say anything and keep eating my food. I dont like when someone underestimate other people.

"That's really mean." Marley frowns.

"Excuse me?" Kitty raise her eyebrows.

"You dont know her life." Marley says nervously.

"And why do you care?" Kitty raise her eyebrows.

"Because she is my mom. I though you guys were different." Marley says and takes her food tray then walks away.

The others just being quiet and continue eating. Until our lunch is done and we decided to go back to the choir room for the rehearsal.

"Do I did something wrong, Sam?" I ask Sam.

"Actually you shouldnt ask about her sweater." Sam says to me.

"Why?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Baby, J- Crew is not a brand store. She got that from the secondhand store then her mom change the brand with the one she made after she repair it. My mom usually did the same thing for me too."

"I didnt know about that. My mom never did that for me." I say sadly.

"It's okay." Sam smile at me and strokes my hair.

"Guys we need to talk to Marley. I'm afraid that she will mad at us and quit the glee club." Blaine says to all of us.

"Yeah we should." Artie nods.

"And we should get out from that sucks table. Unique dont like them." Unique says.

"I feel guilty about what I said about her mom." Sugar says.

We see Marley in front of her locker. Sam takes my hand and walk lead me to there. To apologizes to her.

"Marley, we are so sorry about what happened in the cafetaria." I say sadly.

"About you guys make fun of my mom?" Marley asks.

"It was like, I though you guys were really different." Marley says.

"Listen, we dont mean to. We are actually doesnt like that Kitty girl and that two jocks. And about your clothes, I know that your mom made it for you." Sam half smiles at her.

"How could you know that?" Marley frowns.

"Because my mom also usually made that for me. And Bianca didnt know about that because her mom never make her one." Sam says to her.

"Come on, girl. We can have duet and you will be the new Rachel Berry." Unique grins.

"I'm the new Rachel Berry." I glare at Unique.

"Uh stop it guys." Artie sighs.

"Listen, we are here truly apologize to you. We are show choir we supposed to be hold each other." Artie says.

Marley finally built a smile on her face. Until Kitty and the two jocks come to us.

"You guys really accepted a girl who has fat mom?" Kitty frowns.

"That wasnt hard to accepted double B and Sugar because they are richie one and Brittany because she is head cheerio. We also can handle Gimpy, tarantula head and richie poor because we are nationals champs." Kitty says.

"We are no longer sits in one table with you anymore." Blaine glares.

"I was really wait for you guys said that. Great. Because we cant accept this girl with fat mom and a person who change a lot." Kitty glares at us.

"Welcome to the loser club." That two jocks slushies Marley and Unique at the same time with the strawberry slushie.

"Wow haha you are officially being a part of glee club, now." Blaine chuckles.

I take Marley's and Unique's hand. "Girls, we need some make up." I say and walk lead them to the girls toilet.

"Glad that they gave you strawberry because if you get blueberry one, it will stick on your face like blue." Tina says.

"And make your face look like creature from Avatar." Brittany added.

"Actually I already know the risk. I've been secretly spying on you guys before I transferred to this school." Marley says.

"And I didnt get this in Carmel." Unique says.

"Oh come on, girls. We won nationals and glee club is become the most popular club in McKinley." I say to them and give them face towel.

"Yes, Bianca is totally right." Brittany smiles.

"Come on or we will be late for glee club first rehearsal." Tina says.

Marley and Unique already cleaned up their face. We the walk out from the girls toilet to the choir room.
