Clara stood alone, facing the endless tide of liquid monsters. She took steps forward, her heart racing and her breath catching in her throat.
"Is this the end?" she whispered to herself repeatedly.
She froze, unsure of what to do next. A voice emanating from the liquid monsters moved her continuously as they spread, taking up distance and fastly dominating the area. Cars and houses were enveloped by their presence and devouring spread.
"You're at a loss, Clara, give up," the voice said.
"No I won't. You're taking over my city and I won't let you do that," Clara heard herself say, wondering within her where she summoned the courage to say such.
