My eyes fluttered as the laughter ringed into my ears. I found Mr. Martin laughing, holding his camera focused on me but his laughter died altogether.
My face twisted as I felt void deep inside. Like… there was nothing left. I don’t know why though but I felt as if I reached nirvana but not in the right state of mind that could have given me happiness.
The light was turned off as he leaned forward, wiping away tears from his eyes. Those tears were due to the laughter and not my condition!
He cupped my face trying to keep a straight face but the slight twist in his smooth lips indicated that he was suppressing his laugh.
And… just like that he laughed. Laughed hard on my face! Making me cry even more.
“Oh gosh! You indeed are funny. I had the best time of my life.” He added in between,
