Once inside, Papa took his place on the desk as the maid poured him a red wine and same for Mama. She asked me and Papa gave her a threatening look. That scared the lady as she scurried away as soon as she can.
“I heard that you are adamant in following the medical line?” Papa asked and the grave voice made me question myself.
Not sure if he is talking like my Papa or like Mr. Anderson; I nodded my head shamefully.
“I want you to take care of my business.” The determination evident in his voice made me baffled.
“Papa you cannot do that—” I whined when Mama glared at me.
“Let him finish first, will you?” She showed her displeasure and I was already fumbling with my fingers.
