Chapter Twelve

                                                                Teivals' POV

    Well I found my mate, I really didn’t want to find her today.  I would try and hide it from my father but it wouldn’t do any good.  I walked around trying to find him when I spot him talking to alpha Jensen.  I walk up to them and wait for them to finish talking.

    “Teival, is there something I can help you with?” alpha Jensen asked.

    “I believe I may have found my mate alpha Jensen” I said trying to hide the disappointment in my voice.

    “Oh? Do you have her name?  where is she?” my father asked.

    “Her name is Amber, she walked away from me however though sir” I replied.  Alpha Jensen seemed to be smiling.

    “My boy this is wonderful, that girl is my daughter” Alpha Jensen said.  I was shocked and slightly worried.  I know my father would want me to take her with us and complete the bonding ceremony as soon as we got home, but I wasn’t ready to and I really didn’t want her as a mate.  Alpha Jensen disappeared and I was about to ask where he went when my father told me he left to go find Amber.

    “Teival, here is my daughter Amber!” Alpha Jensen said with pride.  I did my best to smile and act as nice to her as could force myself to.

    “Amber your mated to the future alpha of the dark moon pack!  I couldn’t be more proud of you princess” her father said.  Amber was a bit shy, I kind of liked that.  Maybe she would stay out of my way then.

    “Hi Teival, Hi alpha Ray” Amber said quietly.  

    “Well Amber perhaps we should have you start packing everything so you can leave with them in a few days” Alpha Jensen and my father were saying.

    “Um actually alpha Ray I was wanting to know if perhaps I could stay here until I finished school so I can graduate at the same high school my father did?  It would mean so much to and I have been looking forward to it for a very long time” Amber said to my father.  He seemed to be thinking.

    “I don’t see why not, it would allow Teival here to have more time to train and prepare to become the next alpha and it would be easier for him to focus as well.  Alpha Jensen what do you think?” my father asked.

    “I don’t see an issue with it.  I want my daughters mate to be strong and able to run his pack properly.  How about you come back the day of her graduation and then the day after you can take her back to your pack?” Alpha Jensen asked.

    “That works perfectly.  It also gives me time to prepare for my son to have his mate and for them to have a family as I do expect them to try for a child as soon as she gets settled” my father said.  I forgot that I’d have to start a family with her too.  Ugh I really didn’t want to have kids.  If I get an heir the first pregnancy then I’m not going to try for anymore.

    “I would love to start a family with Teival!  I want to have a big family as I absolutely love children” Amber said excitedly.  s**t!  Well I’ll be alpha so she’ll just do as I say or I’ll make her regret disobeying my.  Of course I’d need to not let anyone know or things may happen, then again when I’m alpha no one can disobey me without the threat of banishment or death.  Well at least I have about two more years left of sleeping around behind my fathers back.

    Amber tries to talk with me and I try to have a civil conversation with her.  She asks me all kinds of questions and I answer her as quickly as I can without causing either men to be suspicious of me.  Finally after who knows how long my father and alpha Jensen part ways and I say goodbye to Amber, but not before I’m given her number.  I know I will have to talk to her a bit but I’m gonna try to talk to her as little as possible.  My father won’t be suspicious as he’ll just assume it's because of me being busy with training.

    “Well even though you won’t have your mate coming with you for a while, I’m still going to set up times for you two to spend time together.  You’ll get to visit her around once every three to four months.  I also expect you to try and text or call her whenever you have a bit of free time so you can start building on your mate bond” my father said to me.  I wasn’t looking forward to having to see her.  I was hoping I wouldn’t have to till it was time to pick her up, but I guess I’ll have to suck it up for a while.  

    I went back to my room and went back to texting some of the hotties back at home.  I currently am in a secret relationship with three of them and none of them know about it.  I made sure they weren’t friends with each other and could keep a secret.  I did decide it would be best to let them know I have found my mate but I would not be bringing her home till she graduated school and even then I still wouldn’t break it off with them since I found them more attractive then Amber.  Why on earth would the moon goddess give me someone like her as a mate?
