Twenty-TwoAt 8:45a.m., a swarthy, stocky young man opens Post Office Box “528.” He retrieves an envelope, which is addressed to “Michael Warren,” and checks the contents. The audio cassette tape inside is marked “Revelation No. 2.” The man returns the cassette to the envelope and closes the door to the box. Just then, Michael arrives at the PO Box and bumps headlong into the man as he leaves. The man drops the envelope. Michael sees it is addressed to him, but the man snatches it up and runs. Michael pursues him out of the Post Office, chases him up Lafayette Street, over Barrone, and down Perdido through the bustling crowds. He crashes into a flower stand and stumbles, then quickly recovers his footing and continues his pursuit. He follows the man to City Hall, but loses him at the main
