My entire sleep was riddled with nightmares of a one-eyed wolf with thinning fur snarling fiercely at me. I was too shocked to move and kept screaming until it was dragged away by a huge wolf and flung into the darkness.
The nightmare kept replaying over and over and I had no idea when it stopped.
I opened my eyes lazily to stop the rays of the sun escaping from the edges of the curtains from hitting them. I made to turn to the other side of the bed and snuggle into the sheets. And my hands hit something fleshy. Alarms rang in my head and I blinked my eyes open.
