Kai's eyes had turned fiery red as he advanced towards us. With his nose flared and palms clenching and unclenching, he looked like he was about to rip Levi's head off. The two were of equal height and had the same body mass, I feared I was about to witness a bullfight.
Levi's hand still rested gently on my shoulder and although it was meant to be comforting, he seemed to keep there to get on Kai’s nerves and he was succeeding.
He didn't make any attempt to take it off even after Kai barked at him to do so. The huge smirk on his face did not waver and he stared at Kai like Kai was some kind of irrational kid who was busy throwing tantrums around.
