"She still isn't eating anything," Sara announced from the door of my office and my head jerked up from the document I was going over.
"And at this rate, she might even pass out before you get anything done."
Something ticked in my jaws and my fists clenched. I understand why she was acting up and I hated the fact I was the one that put her in this situation but acting like a child and intentionally starving herself wasn't it and I wasn't going to condone it.
When Sara first told me that she wasn't eating anything yesterday, I had waved it off that she was going to come around but it seems she wanted to see it to the end.
I pushed my chair back and stood up.
"Is there any food with her now?"
"Yeah, I just dropped her dinner off."
"Good! I'll take care of it."
I walked out
