My first stop when I woke up the next morning was Nadine’s room and it was only after I was in front of her door that I stopped and mentally prepared myself for being in the same space as her.
I couldn't believe that I had been reduced to this but I had to do it if I didn't want to lose control of my senses by just being in the same room with her.
