The Unthinkable II

“I have no idea why I am drawn to you, but I can’t help it, Jasmine.” Gerald found the words leaving his mouth without permission. He had planned to come home and have a beautiful dish prepared by one of the best chefs in town, but something had delayed him at work. Getting home late, he wanted to make it up to her, even though it wasn’t really necessary, she was just a chef after all. But that was the reason he had entered the kitchen with a bottle of champagne and two glass cups. However, seeing Jasmine dressed this way, he was totally attracted to her and now, even though his brain wouldn’t accept that fact, his heart was doing the opposite. It was strange, as it was supposed to be the other way round, because Gerald was not a man of emotions. Jasmine thought she had heard wrong, but he was too close to her and his voice was clear as ever. Maybe she wished she had heard another thing. She predicted this kind of situation happening but definitely not on the first night, not even on the first month. She had no response to his words, so she remained mute, staring at his brown eyes as he stared at her blue ones, with a romantic smile on his face. “I know this seems too fast but, can we just act on our feelings, just for tonight?” His voice was low and soft, she could feel adrenaline rushing all over her body. He was right; they were moving too fast. Faster than any fling she’d ever had, but the man standing next to her wasn’t just a billionaire, he was the kind of man she always fantasized about. The way he was built and how handsome he was, not to talk of his self-confidence and the way he carried himself. She didn’t know what to do or think. She knew she wanted him, but it shouldn’t have happened this way. “I….I…..I’m not really sure about…..” Just before she could complete the sentence, she felt Gerald's lips on hers, she had absolutely no idea how she was feeling his tongue inside of her mouth. Did that mean she was kissing him too? He was slow and calm, kissing her like none of the men in her past life had ever done. Gerald collected the glass of champagne from her and placed it on the kitchen counter without breaking the kiss. He was now in front of her, and she was resting on the kitchen counter. Jasmine couldn’t stop the kiss either, her body wasn’t listening to her, and in between her thighs were starting to tingle. Jasmine tried to kick all the thoughts from her mind and just enjoy the moment. Was it because she hadn’t had s*x in ages? Was that the reason why she couldn’t even resist at all? Or maybe it was this man. She didn’t really care about the answer at that point, whatever it was, she knew this was what she wanted for now. Gerald placed her on the kitchen counter as the kissing heated up and hands were starting to do their jobs. The steak and mashed potatoes sat there on a plate, watching as two strangers made love. *** Waking up on the king-sized bed in Gerald’s bedroom startled Jasmine so much that she gasped, she could suddenly feel an ache in her chest. But, after a few seconds, she calmed down. She wasn’t drunk last night, she remembered everything vividly, and it was stupid of her. It was definitely because she hadn’t had pleasure for a long time; it was too early to start arguing with her mind. Gerald came out of the bathroom completely naked, his hood dangling with each step he took. “Oh you’re awake, do you mind making us breakfast?” ‘He was unbothered!’ Jasmine exclaimed in her mind, looking away. She was also expecting him to feel that what happened last night was wrong, but instead he wanted food. It was kind of lovely and rude, but she couldn’t say that, and the fact that he could walk naked in front of her after just a day was unbelievable. “We did it yesterday, right?” It sounded like a foolish question. Immediately it came out of her mouth. It wasn’t like that in her mind. “Are you seriously asking me that? We weren’t drunk, you know?” Gerald chuckled, putting on his boxers. His response was enough for her. She crawled out of bed, pulling the white duvet with her until she got to where her panties were lying on the floor. She picked it up and also picked up her gown and went back to bed to put them on. “You haven’t answered my question,” Gerald continued, as he was getting ready for work. Last night was also a bit strange to him, but all he did was follow his feelings for once, he still hadn’t admitted that he had something for Jasmine, and he hated lying to himself. For a moment, he thought having s*x with her would take that feeling away, but he was sure it didn’t work. “Thought you said it’d be only at night,” Jasmine responded, she really needed to get out of this place and clear her head. She knew she wasn’t ever going to see him the same way ever again. Merely looking at him now could bring up the thoughts of last night and other urges. “Well, I never knew you’d spend the night here,” Gerald said, facing a large mirror as he dressed up. As much as the words sounded like a lie to Jasmine, it was the truth. He never intended to have s*x last night, the urge came immediately. He saw her in that short gown. “This will be the last time that happens,” Jasmine replied and walked out of the room. Gerald scoffed, it seemed she wasn’t taking it well. The bottom line was he hadn’t forced her, they both wanted it even if he was the one who initiated it. …. Ten minutes later, Gerald was all dressed for work and was down in the big dining room in the sitting room. He placed his suitcase on the large glass table as Jasmine served him breakfast. It was awkward as none of them said anything. Things became more awkward when they heard the voice of two females chatting in the hallway that led to the sitting room. Jasmine could swear that she was hearing both Loretta’s voice and the woman who had slapped her the other day. Her heartbeat skyrocketed……
