Rian’s POV After we ate, we made our way back to the pool, the late sun casting golden streaks across the water’s surface. Neither of us said much. The silence wasn’t heavy just thoughtful. I kicked off my shoes and let my legs dangle into the cool water. Darius didn’t sit right away. He just stood there, watching me like he could hear every thought I wasn’t saying.
