Not much were spoken on the table. Just light talks to heighten up everyone's mood. Father talked about his high school days and how he met mother. The smile on his face was enough to melt my heart. Whenever he recalls the moment, there’s a certain warmth that takes whole of his body. For the slightest moment, I was glad he brought that up. Mother made a few faces here and there but laughs bubbled from the both of us. I don’t always have dinner with my parents- since they’re always busy with work. So moments like this become precious to me. You’d assume that I should already get used eating alone but its really hard to do so. Father continues to tell his love story with mother- and I listen it with my whole ears. He made me forget what had happened. I admit it it was good while it lasted.
