The next few days passed quickly for David and Rachel as they made plans to merge their lives. Both agreed that they wanted to marry as soon as possible, and they decided on the evening of the following Friday to exchange their solemn vows.
Rachel suggested an intimate wedding, with just the closest of family and friends attending. This suited David, since he had few friends and almost no family.
