ALICE Lyda woke up not long after we finished our conversation in the kitchen. Becka was with her the moment she woke and started screaming. Alerting us to them. I rushed into the room and found Becka calming Lyda by humming and telling her how sorry she was. Lyda calmed down as soon as her eyes met Becka's. Gino stood in the door, crossed armed observing. Was it just me who saw something was different? Gino looked protective over both Becka and Lyda, which was strange. Jake placed a hand on my hip and I looked up at him. "Let us leave them to reconnect. I don't think they want us in here" I nodded, looked back at the two on the bed, and walked out of the room. Jake closed the door after Gino stayed inside with them. "So what's the deal with Gino?" I asked as we walked back to the kitchen
