CHAPTER 14

That evening I was making dinner after I had to beg Jake to let me do it. He liked spoiling me but sometimes this was the only thing I knew how to do not feel guilty. We ended up in the pleasure room later that evening placing everything Jake got from Satin touch. I wasn't healed completely yet, so I just helped him put away everything. I came across a small package that lay at the bottom of the bag and held it out to Jake. "What's this?" I asked curiously.  I knew everything Jake picked out and this was not part of it. He took the package from me and gave a sly smile. "Well, I saw you checking out the cat ears, and you did show me the chocker and collar combo. When You were checking out the manikins I told Rinks to put those with" My eyes widened. "Jake those have a massive pricetag" He shrugged "So? I wanted to have you be able to wear something that could and would be used daily and well here." He opened the small box first and took out the chocker and collar. "I also realized I never actually asked you to be mine" I blinked, my heart fluttering, and started nodding. "Yes!" I laughed as an answer before he could actually ask. "Let me ask you" Jake told me half sad that I jumped the gun. "Sorry" I blushed. excited to actually be in a healthy relationship. "Alice, would you be my girlfriend? And well my submissive." I still nodded. He kissed me before first placing the choker around my neck, and then the collar. "You can take the collar off when we're not here. The chocker makes you mine and everybody can see it." After he clipped the last part in place behind my neck he laid a kiss on my neck. a soft growl escaped his lips sending a warm shiver down. I turned around, and our lips met. Jake took the top I was wearing and pulled it over my head. I was getting aroused just by his hands roaming my body. My hands snuck under his shirt and moved up and down his muscled build. "Are you sure? I don't want you hurtin'" Me having his shirt hallway up looked up at him. "I think I will be fine" I giggled as I licked his torso, and again that alluring sound came deep from within him. I pulled his shirt over his head and repeated my action, this time a little higher up. Jake picked me up and carried me to the bed, and we had some fun trying out the new toys.

Chrismas came and went. Jake and I spend it together, getting to know each other in's and out's. I got to wear the cat ears a few times but refused to wear the tail. For now at least. When the new year rolled around I was stuck in the penthouse when Jake had to leave for the office to deal with some minor things that popped up. I pulled out the laptop from its bag and finally checked my emails. I gasped and gave a small squick when I saw the results on the writing assignment I submitted. They wanted to publish it, and send it out to different book stores. I called Lena just after I did a small dance in the big living area. "Alice? Where have you been? I missed you" Lena answered. "I have been pretty occupied" I laughed. Lena gasped.

"You did it, didn't you?!"

"Uhhuh" Lena screamed and I had to pull the phone away from my ear. "Jeez human, my ears" I laughed. "I'm so proud of you" I thanked her before I gave her the news about the book, another scream, and this time I did drop my phone. "Sorry" Lena told me as soon as I picked the phone again. I narrowed my eyes at nothing, assuming she knew my expression. "My ears will never last with your excitement you know" Lena sighed. "I know, I know." I could feel her roll her eyes. We spoke about how it was going with Horatio, and what they were up to over the Holiday season. I did eventually tell her that Jake asked me out in the most original way. And before she could squick I told her not to even try. We laughed and agreed to meet up later this week. I was actually looking forward to it. When I got off the phone with Lena, I went to take a shower and get dressed. I ordered some food to be delivered to Jake's office and decided to go and surprise him. As I walked out into the lobby, it was quiet. Actually too quiet. The Bellman was nowhere near the door. Which was strange, with all the times Jake and I went out to dinner he was always there. I walked out the front door, putting my earphones into my ears when somebody bumped into me. I was about to apologize when I saw who it was. Lyda. Her hair looked like she hadn't combed it in almost a week. Her clothing was a mess and in her hand a knife. I backed away the moment I spotted it. "Lyda, you don't have to do this" I spoke calmly towards her trying not to make any sudden moves. "You have no idea do you?!" She sounded frantic as she moved a step towards me. "What do you mean? I didn't do anything to you. I barely know you" I moved backwards, trying to walk into the hotel lobby, away from the public. I didn't want somebody calling the cops unless she attacked me. Lyda pointed the knife at me. "You don't know what they are. You don't know what secrets they hold" What was she talking about? Who was she talking about? As I moved backwards she moved with me. I looked around trying to see somebody who would be able to just take a hold of her before she did something she might regret later. "Exactly what do you mean?" 

"They're animals...Like-like rawr" She was completely of her rocker. "Lyda, you're not serious are you?" I didn't want to mock her, or even joke. But who in their right mind would think humans were animals? "I'm serious. Henry and Becka...they-they Shift!" I saw the Bellman walk up behind her coming out of nowhere. I tried to not look at him trying to keep her focused on me. He grabbed her and Lyda started to scream. "LET ME GO!" She kicked, screamed and tried to get out of his arms. "You alright miss?" I watched Lyda continue to kick and scream eventually dropping the knife. I kicked it to one side as the bellman walked her to a wall and pinned her there. He took out something from his pocket and jammed it into her neck. "What are you doing?!" I yelled at him. "Putting her to sleep" Lyda sank to the ground, her eyes rolling back. Taking out his phone, he called somebody. "Yeah, it's Gino. She is here. Down for now...Right...She is fine. I promised I would take care of her. Yeah..." He disconnected the call, and picked Lyda up. "You're name is Gino?" He nodded. "I'm guessing you're not a bellman?" He shook his head as a smirk reached his lips. "Come on, we're going back up to the penthouse I will explain everything when we get there"
