Twist of Fate

On getting to the scene from which the rude sound emanated, he met his grandmother on the floor paralysed as she was the one who fell from the top of the staircase, she could not move any of her legs nor could she move her body, she was writhing in pains and Ben was helpless as there was nothing he could do to help her.

He appeared to be lost in the wave of his own thought for a while, but not quite long, he drove pass the shock and started screaming and calling for help, no one seems to hear his voice as everyone was still be indoor because it was heavily rainy outside, he continue screaming until he runs out of strength and his Grandmother was lying helpless on the floor.

Suddenly, their telephone rings and it was a call for his Grandmother, he ran quickly towards the telephone, as he got there, he did not give the caller chance to introduce himself, he said, Could you please help me, my Grandmother fell from the staircase and she can not move, the caller asked him some questions and told him to keep calm that he will surely send him some help.

After some minutes, Ben heard the sound of their Doorbell, he quickly rushed to open the Door, on getting there he saw a man who happens to be the caller, he asked him, where is she? Ben pointed to her where she was lying helplessly, the man asked Ben to give him a helping hand to lift her which he did and they both manage to lift her and stretch her on the cushion waiting for the arrival of the Emergency Department with Ambulance, apparently the man has called them before.

It takes a little while more before they arrive and subsequently apologise that, the heavy downpour made it difficult for them to arrive earlier because, most of the road has been blocked due to Erosion.

Ben's Grandmother was taking away and on getting to the Hospital, she was taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and after some minutes, the Doctor came out and says....!!!
