They walked into school like nothing happened, yet we're hand in hand. Which had everyone staring. Charlie definitely wasn't used to this attention so she hid behind Jax as best she could. "Better get used to the attention darlin'" he said, grabbing her hand and pulling her to his side. " You're now my mate, which means you are the future luna. And also the girlfriend of the captain of the foot ball team."
As he finished his sentence Ryan ran over, "What the f**k dude? Why would you dump Cloe for this?" Pointing at Charlie. Charlie was wearing a pair of skin tight leggings, a black shirt that hugged her just right, and white sneakers. She wasn't ugly by any means, with her red hair, and emerald green eyes. But nobody liked her.
"Better watch it dude, that's my mate you are talking about. Don't make me lay my best friend on the ground."
"Sorry, man... but Cloe is pissed, she thought she was going to be your mate. And come to find out it's Charlie?" Ryan said with a look on his face of utter confusion.
Jax didn't even have to say a word for Ryan to get the hint to shut the f**k up, as he hugged Charlie closer to him.
"I could get used to this." Charlie thought to herself. She has always found Jax attractive, with his blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. He stand about 6'2" making him exactly a foot taller than her, with muscles to match. Not to mention a 6 pack for days. Charlie held on to him tighter as they walked through the halls, being met with dazed stares of confusion even from the staff. Nobody understood why they were fated to be together, including them. But a mate bond is unlike any other, so Jax couldn't just walk away no matter how much he wanted to, he knew he couldn't hurt Charlie without destroying himself in the process.
