"I'm going to miss you!!" This is Vivian been dramatic as usual. Don and I are leaving today. I'm going to miss everyone but it's only for a few months. We will be back here permanently after my graduation.
"I'm coming back," I tell her. She wipes her tears with the back of her hands, making me laugh.
"Don't be so dramatic” I say. Carson pulls her closer to him. She glares at him.
"Goodbye Nala" This is Don's father. Don and his father have little chit-chat from time to time. It's progress.
"Bye old man. Don't make it sound like I'm not coming back" I whisper on my tiptoe. He smirks at me.
"I'm going to miss you all. Bye," I say as I move closer to Don.
"See you soon," Don says as we leave the packhouse.
The journey home is a blur because I slept all through the jour
