Time: 1400 LocalAfter indulging in the Navy’s Slider Day tradition, Morgan took Cat around the rest of the ship, starting on the bridge where he showed her what he used to do for a living when he first became an officer. They visited Debark Control, where the ship’s XO controlled surface launched landing craft, specifically the Air Cushioned Landing Craft or LCAC, during amphibious operations, followed by the Primary Flight control space commonly known as ‘Pri-Fly’. They wandered down to the hangar bay where they marveled at the new F-35 Lightning II Short Take-Off/Vertical Landing fighters as well as the somewhat clever call signs for the Marines who fly them stenciled on the aircraft.
