Day 5Charles Axworthy, call sign Bryce, stirred groggily in a huge California king-sized bed. Looking around, he saw that he lay in an equally huge master bedroom suite with a massive picture window showing a spectacular view of the Manila skyline. Turing to his right, he saw the sleeping form of his prior evening’s companion, a gorgeous and independently wealthy Filipina widow he met at an embassy function the week before. He stretched and smiled to himself.
