6.1 Parents

I nail the last plank on my mother's broken window . . . seven moons have passed since my parents departed from this life and up to now . . . I am uncertain of what exactly- I do not know what one calls them- I know I heard about the virus and of course, what happened to my parents, but it was really as bad as I thought it was. I exit the room and close the door behind me- straight to my room- I am lucky to have found some lose screws to fix my door. I glance at the gloomy room in misery- I never thought I would be here alone, I never thought this would be my life . . .
