The fresh air slams into our faces as we reach the top of the ladder. “Come on, Rosebud,” “s**t! Munro!” He peers inside, “Take it slow,” “It won’t hold me,” “Grab my hand,” I reach toward him, “No, don’t let me fall,” The ladder gives in, leaving a scream loose. I hang from his fingers, “Munro!” He yanks me up into a hug, “Are you okay?
