As much as I would like to take this little angry female somewhere quiet and play a nice little game of cat and mouse, I have to inform my Alpha.
I call him as his out of range of mind linking and let him know of my new little pet from Silvermoon!
He had been wanting to get information on them for so long, I knew what he wanted of me. The order came to take her back and find out what she knew, apparently i already had one of theirs at home waiting for me. He was caught scouting by our land this morning.
At least today won't be boring. I don't make a habit of getting women to talk but for this little kitten I'll make an exception. I don't want any of the guys back home getting their hands on her.
The drive back was uneventful. I turned up my music and snacked on the food she had picked out. Each bite I took had her stomach rumbling and her making sounds of disgust. I did offer her some of the doughnut I had just half consumed but she just scrunched up her face and turned away. I just shrugged and pushed the rest into my mouth, suit yourself.
As I pulled into the pack, the guards came out of the main house as they had been informed I had one of the Silvermoon's soldiers to interrogate.
I ordered them to take her to my playroom and tie her to a certain chair while I prepared for the other guy they had caught.
Jamies POV
I'm dragged into a shiny white room. It's almost surgical how spotless this place is. These arseholes strap me down to a metal chair with ease, they're strong with their hands moving like they've done this a hundred times. I try to struggle, i kick my legs out trying to stop them from strapping them to the wide chair legs, making me feel utterly powerless.
I shifted myself around as the guys stood up and headed for the door, that's when I noticed someone else, a man is hung up swinging from the ceiling with thick chains wrapped around his wrists.
His head is hanging low with his chin resting on his bare chest. I can only tell he's still alive by his chest rising and falling with each unsteady breath.
The door creaking open makes my eyes flash to the right of me. The big 'not so friendly' giant strolls in without a care in the world. I roll my eyes when he begins to whistle like his taking a stroll on a summer's day.
His boots brushing against the polished floor with a slight limp. "Ha" I let out a sharp laugh, his eyes narrowed at me as he headed over to the hanging man.
He picks up a bucket of water and throws it directly over the passed out male. "Wakey Wakey sleepy head," he states like his simply waking a child that's late for school.
The hanging body bursts to life and starts kicking, his legs trying to find solid ground below his feet.
"I'm Tank and i shall be learning all your dark and unheard secrets today," he almost sings while removing his shirt.
Exposing his rippling chest and stomach... Goddess, he looks like a god, not an ounce of fat but just solid muscle. I blink, but my eyes refuse to move from the sight in front of me.
He changed into clean trousers, their loose cargo ones that hung low on his hips as he began pulling a metal table across the room.
Tank, huh? I guess it suits him as he is f*****g built like one.
He stops and stares at his chosen tools before the male and picks up a long curved knife. it shines and reflects the light as he moves it towards the guy's chest.
"No," I whisper to myself. I held my breath and squeezed my eyes closed just as the screaming started. By the time an hour has passed, the room smells metallic with blood.
I couldn't stand to watch. I kept my head down trying to drown out the moans, screams and eventually the gurgling.
As the room goes still I bring myself to look up. There's nothing left but a bloody corpse hanging lifeless, covered in blood and cuts that are dripping onto the floor.
During that time he spoke of being from my pack. We are more than 300 Lycans strong. I wish I had the time or even the opportunity to get to know everyone.
The way my life is, I don't have any friends, I try to help others when i can. I hate seeing people in my pack struggle.
Any coin I make normally goes to the less fortunate, those left without mates, fathers or mothers because of this stupid rivalry. i hate it. So many are dead leaving their loved ones broken, so many hearts left bleeding with their lives destroyed.
The now hanging sack of useless meat was a scout my father sent to report any comings and goings from here.
He spoke of our Alpha, the shift he was on and what time they changed the guards. Anything and everything he knew about our pack had been bled out of him.
He even spilled that I was the Alpha's daughter. I nearly choked when Tank let out a sharp laugh at learning that.
By the end, he was begging for death and Tank happily agreed by plunging a knife straight through the male's heart.
I try to even out my breathing as I watch Tank move around the room taking notes before he eventually leaves, giving me nothing but a glance as he heads out the door.
Is that it? Maybe I was just meant to sit here and watch, scare me enough to spill information? Their stupider than they look if they think I know anything!
My father just barks orders at me. I know nothing about his plans, i learn on the day what I'm doing mostly without warning. I scan the room for anything I could use. It's so quiet you could hear a pin drop, i need to get out.
I pull against my bindings but they only tighten and bring friction, "Damn it, this is bullshit!" I curse out into the room.
The door swinging open makes me jump in surprise, two men head straight for the hanging man and begin getting him down and cleaning the area, using water to wash away the blood on the floor into a drain.
Seemingly unfazed by the scene they've walked in to, they act like it's just another day on the job. Their quick and precise at making sure there's no spot left unwashed.
By the time they're done, Tank comes back into the room with a clipboard and places it on the side, his eye meets mine and my body gives out a shiver.
He dismisses the cleaners and they hurry out, not wanting to bring any unwanted attention to themselves from Tank. it seems even his pack members here fear him, and with that I'm left here completely at his mercy. Wonderful.
