"Absolutely, Hannah. I can see your honesty shining through. Being poor and orphaned doesn't make you any less valuable. Your genuine nature is what matters most, and I believe in your worth. You're not alone; I'm here to support you." danny responded firmly While Hannah expressed, "I don't have experience, I need training." Danny nodded in agreement. "You'll get the training, but let me be clear," he stated firmly. "Honesty is non-negotiable. Any deceit will have serious repercussions." Hannah's heart skipped a beat as she noticed the shift in Danny's expression after he mentioned consequences. A wave of fear washed over her, causing her pulse to quicken and her palms to grow clammy. Suddenly, the gravity of the situation dawned on her, and she realized the importance of adhering to Danny's warning about honesty. Hannah nodded in agreement, not wanting to upset Danny. As the waitress served them Italian pasta with lasagna, Hannah's stomach grumbled loudly, betraying her hunger. Without hesitation, she dug into the delicious meal, savoring each bite with gusto, her hunger momentarily forgotten in the pleasure of the food. Danny grinned mischievously as he observed Hannah's enthusiastic devouring of the meal. "You don't strike me as someone with a voracious appetite," he remarked, a twinkle of amusement in his eyes. "But I must say, you're certainly proving me wrong. Enjoying the food?" Hannah looked up from her plate, a playful gleam in her eyes. "I guess you could say I'm full of surprises," she replied with a smirk, before taking another hearty bite. "And yes, the food is absolutely delicious. Thank you for this food. "Danny asked, 'Hannah, could you finish your food quickly?'" Hannah nodded vigorously, her mouth still stuffed with food, giving Danny an exaggerated thumbs-up to indicate she understood, albeit nonverbally. "Hannah, Roger, make sure you're presentable before we meet in the office cabin," Mr. Danny instructed sternly. Hannah felt puzzled by Danny's sudden mood swings. Hannah's stomach, once empty and growling, now feels relieved after two days of hunger. After finishing a delicious meal, she entered the washroom. Enveloped by its exotic and luxurious ambiance, she marveled at the lavishness of the hotel, realizing it was her first time experiencing such opulence. Hannah used makeup to add some finishing touches to her face. With her slender figure, pale skin, and pointed nose, she possessed a beautiful appearance. Despite the hardships she had endured in her life, there was an undeniable innocence in her gaze that had the power to touch the hearts of those around her, offering a glimpse into the resilience and strength hidden beneath her gentle exterior. ""Best of luck to myself. I will prove to them that I am capable of working with great effort," Hannah murmured herself. Hannah heard a polite knock at the door. She glanced up to see one of the cleaning staff members standing there, holding a note. With a curious expression, she opened the door."Good morning, Hannah," the staff member greeted her. "Mr. Danny asked me to deliver this message to you. He wants you to meet him in his office as soon as you can." "Good morning," Hannah nodded, taking the note from the cleaning staff member. "Thanks for passing on the message. I'll go to Mr. Danny's office now." She smiled and closed the door promptly. Hannah grabbed her purse and left the office. Heading towards the elevator, she pressed the button. As she waited, she noticed a woman in a blazer and pants nearby, who seemed to be intentionally ignoring her, exuding an air of superiority. Hannah's spirits sank as she began to feel disheartened by the judgmental atmosphere among the employees, wondering how she would be able to perform her office duties in such an environment. She headed to the office where Mr. Danny was standing with other employees. The employees appeared to be more educated and were dressed in upscale attire. Hannah felt a sense of low self-esteem as she noticed their judgmental gazes. "Good morning, everyone," Mr. Danny greeted all the employees. "Let me introduce you to my new secretary. Her name is Hannah Rogers. She will be trained here under Miss Veronica Smith. I want all of you to work unitedly without judging her. We are like family," Danny said. Hannah felt relieved as Mr. Danny asked all employees not to judge her past. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she quickly reached for a tissue to wipe them away, hoping no one would notice her emotional reaction. Hannah needed to appear strong and composed as she had to work with the CEO of the hotel chain. With determination, she shifted her emotions back to normal, focusing on projecting a stern and confident demeanor to meet the demands of the situation. "Yes, of course, we will do our best," Veronica affirmed confidently. "Mr. Danny, I will never let you down. I am confident in my abilities and committed to fulfilling my responsibilities." Hannah glanced at Veronica, noticing her fashionable attire. Her purple light coat paired with white pants showcased her professionalism impeccably. Hannah couldn't help but wonder if Veronica harbored feelings for Danny. She thought to herself that Danny, with his handsome looks, wealth, and caring nature, likely had many admirers among the female staff. Hannah felt a twinge of jealousy as she found herself starting to develop feelings for Danny. However, she was determined to control her emotions because she didn't want any strings attached or for Danny to think she was desperate. Veronica went near Hannah and extended her hand for a handshake. In the blink of an eye, Hannah reciprocated the gesture, extending her hand to shake. Veronica gave a cunning smile to Hannah, implying that she had something planned. Hannah couldn't help but feel a sense of unease, wondering what Veronica's intentions were. Despite the smile, there was a hint of deception in Veronica's eyes that made Hannah wary
