The newly married couple walked the hall of the hotel towards the larger area filled with shops and restaurants. They didn’t have time to make a reservation but it was a good thing the maître d’ told them that it was alright as he ushered the two of them to a table by the window. The seat didn’t give them much privacy but Alex didn’t mind. She was actually delighted to see the shops that lined across them on the other side of the glass.
