The women dragged the men to their impromptu shopping spree and made them carry so many things they had to question the purpose for their existence. “Charles,” Jacques called and his cousin who walked next to him turned to give him attention. “What?” the younger man asked and the older one’s jaw clenched as he exhaled. “Can you remind me of the reasons why I said I hated being married?” The young executive blinked as he tried to recall his cousin’s exact words, and when he did, he recited it by heart. “You mean this: if you get married, have kids, mingle with your in-laws every week or every day, go shopping with your wife every weekend, or spend your evenings with your noisy kids, what do you get?
