The awkwardness they were expecting came – and it came with a vengeance, far worse than what they were envisaging. Husband and wife sat as far apart from each other as the seat would let them. Both looked out the window with their arms placed across their chest.
After the revelations earlier, Alex and Jack refused to look, much less speak to each other. Charles and Kim spent the past fifteen minutes in uncomfortable silence, watching the couple sulk.
“Ehrm…we’ll be arriving at big brother’s condominium in ten minutes,” Charles announced and Alex turned to him.
“Good. Drop him off there then bring me to my apartment,” she said which made her husband frown and turn to her for the first time after they found out about each other.
“What are you talking about? You’re staying there with me,”
