The Cheated Bride

1013 Words
It's true that Alex was not really in love with her fiancé, but she was fond of him. Fondness could lead to real affection in due time, right? What's important was that her most important person would be free to think about himself only. Alexandra had been a burden for far too long. Also, another reason why she's getting married was so someone could help her out with her other problem. She's now an owner of a huge company, regardless that she's a reluctant one, and needed someone to handle it for her. "I'm sure of that," Alex promised and she could imagine the other smiling at the other end. Her wedding was tomorrow. She already had all the requirements she needed secured in her pocket. "That's good then. Congratulations Lexie," the other said and Alex smiled at the pet name. "Thank you Doichi. I'll see you soon," she promised, using her own pet name for him, as she ended the call. Feeling energized, she wore the ring and the necklace and studied herself in front of the mirror. She looked good and knew it. She wouldn't be a top model if she didn't. "Okay!" With a smile on her face, she decided to give her fiancé, who had insisted on being traditional, and stayed at another hotel, a surprise visit. They had decided to see each other at the chapel in the morning, but she was too happy right now— she wanted to ask him out to go to one of the bars or a restaurant for late dinner. Having decided, she went on her way. The hotel where Kyle, her fiancé, former model, and businessman stayed at was just a block away from hers, and so she walked. As she did, her eyes roamed the surroundings, enjoying the bright lights she passed by and wondered where she'd go with her fiancé later. Reaching the hotel, Alex went straight to Kyle's room with a mischievous smile as she held the knob ready to surprise. Both of them had each other's spare keys. As soon as she did, however, she stopped and frowned. There was a noise inside, and when she placed her ear against the door, her eyes widened. "Oh yeah… ahhhh... more…'' A passionate voice which was definitely not Kyle's echoed, followed by a masculine grunt and a bunch of "yeah babies” by her fiancé's were audible and Alex's lips set into a grim line. What was happening inside the room was a no-brainer, and she, Alexandra Lee wasn't an i***t. Then and there, Alex knew there was something going on— and it was something she wouldn't like. With her fist clenching and unclenching at her side where she kept her marriage license, she unlocked the door with her spare key, pushed it open silently, and she wasn't at all surprised by the sight which welcomed her. The room was stale and smelled of s*x which was no wonder, considering her fiancé was on the bed on top of a woman with her legs spread open, naked, while he continued to shove his engorged p***s into her womanhood. The woman's long nails raked Kyle's back as she writhed and gasped in pleasure, moving her hips in sync with her fiancé's thrusts; her legs wrapped tighter around the other's buttocks— clearly wanting to impale the other's s*x deeper within her. Alex felt sick.  She felt sick and angry.  With her eyes narrowed, she grabbed the pitcher filled with water from the table and marched towards the bed and unceremoniously threw its contents on the two. Kyle and his lover scrambled to the other side, as Alex's fiancé finally realized he'd been caught. "A-Alex…" he stammered, but Alex had no penchant for listening. She'd seen enough. There was no other explanation for what he did. If he told her he was forced into it, she might break the pitcher and slap him with it. Bastard. "I'm sorry, you two looked hot, I thought I had to freshen you up," Alex apologized, her voice oozing with sarcasm, and yet, her face remained blank. "Alex, I-I'm sorry— I won't do it again," he begged as he rushed towards her and clung onto her arm, but Alex pushed him away, back into the arms of his lover. "Like I'd let you do it again," she muttered as she turned towards the door.  Before she went out though, Alex turned to her now ex-fiancé with a smirk. "Go back to Korea alone. There won't be a wedding tomorrow," she announced and left without turning back. Outside, Alex puffed her cheeks as she exhaled audibly. She was still fuming about the events, but surprisingly, the only thing that hurt right now was her pride.  Then again, it may not be her heart, but pain was still pain regardless of reasons. Letting the night air cool her temper, Alexandra Lee walked away from the hotel, down the street where she saw the glitzy bars earlier. Without being too picky, she chose a random establishment where she decided to drink herself into a stupor. Entering the place, Alex was grateful for the surprisingly meager number of patrons inside. Walking to the bar where there was only one other person sitting, having a drink, she sat and ordered her favorite brand of alcohol. Having received her glass, she thanked the master quietly before she took a sip. Her mind raced, trying to come up with different reasons she'd tell Doichi why her wedding didn't push through. Alex knew she couldn't tell him about Kyle's transgressions. For sure the other would be upset about it and worry more about her. She didn't want that, but there was no other way except for one. Alex needed to get married. But after what she'd been through, she was still sore about the topic. "Marriage? What fuckery is that?" she grumbled— a little louder than she meant to, and she was thankful that she used Korean. She wouldn't be understood even if someone heard. But she was wrong.
