“Here you go,” Jack said as he returned the signed document to the nurse. “Will this be all?”
The nurse nodded and smiled at the couple. “Yes, Mr. and Mrs. Cole. One of my colleagues will give you a call for the results or in case you need to get another appointment.”
The meaning of the latter part of the nurse’s words were clear. In case something was really wrong, they might have to return for further tests.
“Alright, thank you,” he said with a nod, before pulling Alexandra’s hand to leave.
Alexandra gave the nurse a smile as she waved goodbye. It was not a secret to her that the nurse might be a fan based on how her smile turned up whenever Alex looked at her. Ah and she heard her gasp when she appeared with Jack earlier.
