Emma POV
Three days later ...
It's been three days since I pecked Jake on his check
Three days and Jake is practically ignoring me.
In school I barely saw him and if I do before a blink of an eye he's out of my sight.
He barely reply to my text and if I call, it goes straight to voicemail or one of his bitches answer his phone
So clearly he's avoiding me
Why...... I don't know
I kept wondering if I'd stepped too far, but it was just a harmless peck nothing special about it, okay okay it was special to me but..
Dang, it was a harmless peck
I groan as I fist my hair with both hands and look at myself in the mirror.
Why did I let my feelings get in the way. He's not even picking my calls.
Damnit
I'm actually in the washroom right now, I ran my hands through my hair for the up tenth time today. I sigh as I decided to leave the room. I step out of the washroom and almost immediately I bumped into someone.
Austin
" I'm so sorry Austin" I said quickly
" It's alright, no need to apologise" he waved it off as I smiled and adjusted my glasses and then he asked something that wiped the smiles off my face
" What's up with you and Jake" he asked
" What do you mean ..."
He cut me off ".. you don't have to cover up, Emma " he paused as I bit my lips "did you guys get into a fight or something" he questioned curiously
I quickly shook my head " No we didn't"
I just went too far and gave him a peck on his cheeks . I didn't dare tell him that
He raised his brows as he stare at me with that looks that says I_ don't_ believe_you.
Was my lie too obvious
" Okay"
Phewwww he did buy the lie
"See you around Emma" with that he was out of my sight
What the heck is going on..... if Austin could question me . Then it's seems Jake is really not happy about what I did .
